Out-of-network plans

There are several insurance companies that reimburse for my services such as NYSHIP State Empire Plan and Carelon Behavioral Health. I will submit the claims for you—so you don’t have to do the paperwork to get reimbursed. You will need to check with your insurance company to find out if you have out-of-network mental health benefits. Questions to ask your insurance company:

Do I have out of network benefits for mental health?

Do I have a deductible for out-of-network coverage? If yes how much is it? Has it been met?

What percentage of each session is reimbursed? (for CPT code 90837/ 60 min therapy session)
